Biography

Donald Hamilton Fraser was born in 1929. He Studied at St.Martin's School of Art, London fron 1949 to 1954. Donald Hamilton Fraser lived and worked in Paris fron 1953 to 1954 having been awarded a French government scholarship.

In 1953 Donald Hamilton Fraser held his first solo exhibition at Gimpel Fils, London and this was followed by many others throughout Europe, Japan and America. Donald Hamilton Fraser's main medium is oil and his prints are most often produced as a screenprint and a lithograph.

In 1970 Donald Hamilton Fraser was made a fellow of the Royal Academy of Arts.
